At Gateway Arts, we believe in the power of theatre to inspire, connect, and transform young lives.
This past May, we held our annual fundraising gala, Gateway Hearts. Over dinner and performance, we shared a first glimpse of Brainstorm, our upcoming production that dives deep into the teenage mind. Inspired by real young people and backed by scientific insight, Brainstorm gives voice to the hopes, fears, and inner workings of youth today.
Even if you missed the event, the heart of our mission is something you can still be part of.
Why Gateway Arts?
We are a charity and non-profit theatre company dedicated to empowering youth through the arts. Every show we create is designed to:
• Reflect the real thoughts, emotions, and experiences of young people today
• Reach underserved schools and communities that might not otherwise access theatre
• Provide young artists with a platform to express themselves and develop their craft
• Spark important conversations around mental wellness, identity, and resilience

• Bring meaningful productions to schools and community spaces
• Provide subsidised or free tickets to students who need them most

Right now, all eligible donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar under the Tote Board’s Enhanced Fund-Raising Programme (EFR)* — doubling the difference you make.
Note: Donations are not eligible for tax deductions, but they are eligible for EFR matching (up to $250,000 per charity per financial year, for approved campaigns).
