Synopsis
A reclusive children’s writer becomes wildly successful after publishing a series of fantasy books about a hero using her magical pen to fight evil. Her books are treasured across the country. But when a troubling narrative starts to unfold, we find ourselves asking: what matters more, the storyteller or the story? Who gets to decide the stories we tell?
This October, Adeeb & Shai will be producing the Singapore premiere of the British play, Heather. Written by Thomas Eccleshare, the play has received rave reviews from its presentation in the United Kingdom. Presented by Gateway Theatre, the play will be performed for the first time in Singapore by Andy Tear and Karen Tan with lighting design by Petrina Dawn Tan.
Directed by Adeeb Fazah, under the mentorship of Samantha Scott-Blackhall. Performed by Andy Tear and Karen Tan.
