Gateway Arts Limited (“Gateway Arts”) is a not-for-profit Singapore-registered charity that provides meaningful arts programmes to serve communities and inspire people through arts and creativity. Our programmes are rooted in arts practice, delivered by experienced arts professionals, and aim to inspire personal development. Through our theatre productions, we seek to discuss social issues faced by children and youth under 18 and champion social causes that are relevant to them.
“Make A Difference” is a one-time yearly giving programme that Gateway Arts launched in June 2021, which offers art lovers, supporters and philanthropists different giving tiers of Friend, Guardian, or Sponsor of Gateway Arts.
Gateway Arts welcomes individual and corporate donors to become a Friend, a Guardian, a Corporate Donor or a Sponsor of Gateway Arts.
Gateway Arts is immensely grateful to all donors, sponsors and supporters, whose generosity will make a lasting difference to the future of the company and the lives that it touches.
Gateway Arts’ “Make A Difference” programme is not a recurring donation programme.
It is a giving programme for one-time donations that in support of Gateway Arts’ activities in the same calendar year. As a Friend, a Guardian, or a Corporate Donor, you can redeem the perks within one year from the date on which Gateway Arts receives your donation.
If you wish to elect to make a regular, recurring donation to Gateway Arts instead of a one-time gift, please tick “Yes” in the applicable check box in the correct field of the online donation form.
Our staff will follow up with you closer to the end of the one-year donation cycle on the recurring donations.
In appreciation of your generous contribution of donation to Gateway Arts, you will enjoy the following perks as a Friend or a Guardian of Gateway Arts for a period of one year from the date on which Gateway Arts receives your donation [e.g. 1 January 2022] to [1 January 2023]:

As a not-for-profit Singapore-registered charity, Gateway Arts relies on the proceeds and ticket sales from its programmes and theatre productions, as well as the generous support of its donors and sponsors to fulfil its social mission to transform lives through the arts. In 2021, to ensure its sustainability and enable it to not only continue its work but also grow as a company, Gateway Arts’ fundraising efforts went into full swing.
Your support will help Gateway Arts to:
- Nurture Emerging Local Artists
Develop local talent and give platforms for their work to reach wider audiences.
- Build Mental Resilience in Youths
Raise awareness on mental wellness, teach coping strategies, and provide resources for seeking help.
- Discuss Important Social Issues
Highlight and encourage conversations on current issues among children and youth.
- Bringing the Arts into the Community
Make the arts more accessible to people regardless of financial, physical, or mental ability.
An average of 92 cents of every dollar donated is invested in programmes:
- 50 weeks of Community Arts programmes
- 2 – 4 shows discussing diversity and mental wellness
- Engaging 30,000 Children & Youth
- Nurturing 2 – 5 Artists yearly
- Creating more than 85 Freelance Arts Jobs
Gateway Arts is immensely grateful to all donors, sponsors and supporters, whose generosity will make a lasting difference to the future of the company and the lives that it touches.
Donations made to Gateway Arts Limited are not currently eligible for 250% tax deduction; only Institutions of a Public Character (IPCs) are able to issue tax deductions for qualifying donations.
Gateway Arts is a not-for-profit Singapore-registered charity (UEN Number: 201605922E; Effective Date of Registration: 06 July 2023).
All donations made in Singapore Dollars only to Gateway Arts Limited are voluntary and non-refundable.
